Quick answers to the things merchants ask before they start configuring.
Install Flare from the Shopify App Store, approve the permissions, and follow the in-app setup wizard. No developer or code changes needed. Most stores are live within an hour.
On any Shopify plan: cart page, slide cart or drawer, and product page. On Shopify Plus: the native checkout page using checkout extensibility. You can use one or multiple placements at the same time.
In your Flare dashboard, open Blocked Dates. Block individual dates (e.g. bank holidays), recurring days of the week (e.g. no Sundays), or entire date ranges. Changes take effect immediately.
In the Cut-off Times panel, set cut-offs by day of week, time of day, and shipping method. For example: same-day orders cut off at 12pm Monday–Friday. Customers placing orders after the cut-off automatically see the next available date.
No. Flare is entirely no-code. The widget is added via the Theme Editor (click to place — no code required). All delivery rules, cut-offs, zones and date logic are configured inside the Flare dashboard.
Yes. In the Product Rules panel, assign different lead times, available delivery days, or cut-off times to individual products or entire collections. For example, fresh fish might need a 2-day lead time while ambient goods ship next-day.
Use the Zones panel to define postcode or ZIP code ranges, then assign shipping methods, rates and available delivery days per zone. For example: standard zones get Tuesday/Thursday delivery; Highlands and Islands get Friday only with a £10 surcharge.
Live chat is available inside the Flare app, and you can email support@getflare.co.uk. The team typically replies within 1–2 hours during UK/US hours and within 24 hours worldwide. Advanced plans and above include a 1:1 onboarding call.
