These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Flare, our Shopify app and related services. Please read them carefully before using Flare.
1. Overview
These Terms apply to your use of Flare (the “Service”), operated by Flare Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Access
You must have an active Shopify store to use Flare. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your store and API access.
3. Your Responsibilities
Keep your account credentials secure. You’re responsible for your store’s data and how you use Flare’s features. Don’t misuse or attempt to interfere with Flare’s systems.
4. Billing & Plan Terms
Pricing is listed at flare.delivery/pricing. You are billed through Shopify according to the plan you select. Downgrades and cancellations are self-service via the Shopify admin.
5. Data Use
We do not collect personal data directly from your customers unless required for functionality (e.g. delivery date). Data is handled per our Privacy Policy.
6. Termination
You can uninstall Flare anytime via Shopify. We reserve the right to suspend access in the event of misuse or violations.
7. Disclaimer & Liability
Flare is provided “as-is.” We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. You use the Service at your own risk.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here. Continued use of Flare indicates your acceptance of updated terms.
9. Professional Services & Custom Development
When Flare provides bespoke development, consulting, or professional services beyond the standard Shopify app functionality, additional terms apply:
All custom code, methodologies, and IP developed by Flare remains Flare property
Client receives non-exclusive usage rights only
Reverse engineering or replication of our methods is prohibited
Trial or evaluation periods do not grant rights to extract or copy our processes
Client agrees to pay all actual damages suffered by Flare, including but not limited to lost profits, development costs, and reasonable legal fees incurred in enforcement.
