Who this applies to
This policy applies to Shopify merchants (“Merchants”) who use Flare. It does not apply to buyers (your customers). You are responsible for your own store’s privacy policy toward buyers.
Data we collect
We may collect your name, email, Shopify store URL, address, billing info, configuration settings (like calendar and delivery options), usage data such as feature preferences, and optional customer delivery date selections if enabled on your store.
How we use your data
Your data is used to provide, support, and improve the Flare service, assist with onboarding, communicate about updates or issues, handle transactions through Shopify, and troubleshoot and optimize performance.
Who we share data with
We may share data with trusted vendors and service providers (under NDA/confidentiality agreements), as required by law (e.g., subpoenas), in the event of mergers/acquisitions, or with your consent.
How long we keep data
We retain your data as long as your store uses Flare and for periods required by law or operational need after you uninstall the app.

Your data may be processed in the UK, EU, or United States. We rely on standard contractual clauses and secure infrastructure to protect your information.
Your GDPR rights

Marketing emails & opt-out
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, but you will continue to receive essential app updates and notices (such as billing or outages).
Children under 13
Flare is not intended for minors under 13. If you believe a child’s information has been shared, contact us so it can be removed.
