About Gabar Myanmar

Gabar Myanmar is a forward-thinking beauty brand born out of a desire to represent and celebrate Myanmar's natural beauty and culture. Launched with a collection of fragrances inspired by Myanmar's landscapes, Gabar aims to connect with Gen Z consumers through sensorial products that promote mindful living and resistance.

The Challenge

Gabar Myanmar faced a unique challenge in their high-end perfume market. Their customers desired the flexibility to purchase their luxury fragrances for future occasions without committing to a costly subscription model. Understanding that a £150 subscription every month or two wasn't appealing to their clientele, Gabar sought a solution to encourage repeat business without the constraints of traditional subscription services.

The Solution

We were introduced to Phway, the CEO of Gabar Myanmar, as an early design partner for Flare. We were able to quickly setup on her Shopify store using our App, embedding the “Order for Later” block directly onto their product pages.

The Impact

Within a day of launching, shoppers began to start converting through the Order for later option - ordering perfume as far as 5 months in advance. Since launch, Gabar have seen a 33% increase in sales, with Flare directly having generated over £30,000 in revenue.
