Meet the Founders

By background, Daniel is a behavioural economist, specialising in how we make decisions. He spent 3 years forecasting demand for consumer & retail companies and after months feeling the pain of spreadsheets, historical data and poor forecasts, he thought there must be an easier way - like asking customers directly. Before founding Flare, he was the no.2 to the CCO at Financial Education Scale-up GoHenry and led Sales & Partnerships at Education Technology Scale-up Labster.


Alex is a full stack software engineer, building embedded finance solutions at the Telegraph and 11:FS. He saw the pain Buy Now Pay Later technologies were creating and saw an opportunity to bring a better solution that help people protect their financial wellbeing.


Daniel and Alex teamed up on Entrepreneur First in 2022 and have built a team, customer base and investor backing to bring Flare’s technology to every business in the supply chain.
