Clek, one of Canada's largest infant car seat brands, serves thousands of customers every month. Their mission is to keep infants safe during car journeys while providing soft, high-quality seating to ensure children are comfortable, no matter how long the ride.

We reached out to Ryan and his team at Clek as we know that a large proportion of visitors buying for Baby are planning ahead for future arrivals - and could benefit from being able to schedule their orders into the future. Although Clek usually discards cold sales emails, they made an exception for us. They recognised the value we could bring, knowing that order scheduling is a significant pain point for their customers.

Clek, like many other baby brands, has a large user base of current and expectant parents looking for new car seats and other items. However, many of these parents do not convert into customers because they either do not need a car seat immediately or cannot store it at the moment. As a result, they leave the site with plans to return later but often end up purchasing from a competitor instead. This issue of lost conversions represents a loss in sales for Clek and other baby brands that do not offer flexible delivery options.

We approached Clek at the perfect time, just after they had attempted their own in-house solution to this problem. With a small and lean team, Clek didn't have the time or resources to dedicate to building out a scheduled orders solution themselves, and their in-house solution failed to gain traction. Consequently, lost sales remained a recurring problem.

With Flare, Clek no longer needed to manage order scheduling in-house.
